Buddy Hotel

The rooms are great! Can get a little hot to be honest and might be a little small but for solo travelers or 2 people on a budget, this was beyond amazing! The reception is great and helpful, there’s amazing snacks kept in the morning. Train stations are right in front and everything is walking distance!

Location, price, cleanliness and modern. The beds were very comfortable too. Also had breakfast pastry snacks, and great security. A metro entrance is right outside the front door with an underground shopping area with nice places to grab a sandwich or pastry.

Great location with easy access to the old town and all public transport. Fair value for money given its location. Room was pleasant, well equipped, clean and an okay size for a basic budget hotel of its type. Staff were friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Card-access security door to main hotel building for extra security. Room was quiet and well shaded and had been designed creatively to use what little space there was. A snack style breakfast (mini-pretzels, etc) and additional coffee pods provided free of charge at reception in the mornings to take back to your room.

Amazing place for a work trip stay. The hotel is at the city center and allows for an easy connection with the S-Bahn (Karlsplatz-Stachus station). The rooms are very nice, although a bit small, (as it can be seen in the photos on the website). Perfect for a shorter stay. The room was very clean and offered an amazing view towards the Karlsplatz.

WOW-just WOW!!!! What a fun hotel. The location is perfect. It is near many shops, restaurants and the train station. There is also a trolley stop right in front of the hotel as well. If you take any bus day trips most of the buses meet just a block from the entrance of the hotel. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. At 7am complimentary breakfast snacks and pretzels are put out in the lobby. This is first come, first serve. It was a perfect size to hold us over until lunch. Complimentary coffee and tea is in your room with a brewing machine. If you need more or paper cups they have them in the lobby. The room is fun. I have never been on a cruise but I imagine this might be something like it. The bed and bedding was so comfortable. The bed was so comfortable that if I knew what brand it was I would buy it!!! Due to the wall of windows it makes the room seem much larger than it is. The shower had a rainfall overhead as well as a hand held sprayer. Great water pressure. The hand soap at the sink is a vegan friendly hand soap. The room is small BUT what more do you need. There is space under the bed if you are travelling with larger suitcases, There is a built in couch type to sit on if you do not want to sit on the bed. There is a wall mounted television. We did not know it but there are buttons by the bed that adjust the beds for you. I do wish that the Buddy Hotel was a chain because I would always stay in them. I loved the Buddy figure by the doors as well. I am not sure about the occupancy for the night but I never heard any noise from other rooms or the hallways. Whenever I visit Munich I will stay here again.
